Inscribed Magic Sword / Gothic Lightsaber

Your looking at a PSP XI post-processed image taken at the 2007 ELF FantasyFair in the Netherlands of a guy dressed as a Ringraith. Please feel free to comment on what you think about it, what you would change to made it better or… ah well.. please just drop a line.
Most of what i’ve done concerns the following:
* remove detail from the upper right en upper left
* remove sunlight by changing hue, saturation and brightness
* darken too bright areas (hands mainly)
* midnight sepia it a bit (multiply layer with a lot of blur) if i remember correctly
* extend the shadow from the sword on the lower arm part
* inscribed runes on the sword
* extra saturation and a bit of color work on the sword
* added "magic spark" details using only two brushes
* added a little glowing "magic swearl" around the sword
* added a texture layer below the magic swirl
* added a grain layer below the magic swirl
* added a frame
A scaled-down version of the .PSP file is available for download. Layer names are in dutch, but you’ll understand anyway
